Elsa + Zoe
a mother-daughter collaboration for little girl necklaces
no glitter, no plastic, no junk metal, no toxic paint
a privileged kid project
handmade in Berlin
50% child labour, 100% maternal pride
I don’t know about you, but plasticky glittery shiny sparkly accessories for little girls are a huge turn-off for me. I know those little-girl eyes do light up at the sight of those things, but I wonder if it’s really directed to the sparkle and glitter. Personally I think it’s the idea of dressing up, just like their mothers, or the sheer novelty of the matter. In any case, I decided to stop complaining about the crappy junk, and make 100% cotton necklaces. For, and with, my five-year-old daughter, Elsa.
